Blog  and Twitter correspondents describe the activities at the Annual Meeting from a variety of perspectives; looking forward to events throughout the conference, providing insights into the meeting or events for those that couldn’t be in two places at once.  You could even start blogging and tweeting before the conference to highlight the portions of MLA’17 that you are excited to attend.  Bloggers and Tweeters can earn up to 3 AHIP points upon completion of 3 posts/tweets.
