Posters are a great way for people to share their research and projects with members of their professional community. There are many advantages to presenting a poster at a conference:
- You can engage with your peers in one-on-one conversations
- Your presentation can be more conversational and flexible than a traditional paper presentation or lightning talk
- It’s a great medium for presenting the early stages of your research
- You can obtain feedback on your project before writing and submitting a manuscript
While posters are on display in the Regency Ballroom VI for the entire conference, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss research with poster presenters at the following times:
- Sunday May 20, 2:00 PM – 2:55 PM
- Monday May 21, 2:20 PM – 3:25 PM
- Tuesday May 22, 1:00 PM – 1:55 PM
- Tuesday May 22, 2:00 PM – 2:55 PM
In the MLA'18 app, you can browse for posters by poster session, number, title, or primary presenter, and you can also select specific posters to “Favorite”.
