Bill Garrity is Deputy University Librarian and Chief of Staff at the University of California, Davis. He is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the University Library, with specific responsibility for library operations, services, and activities; staff management, structure, and coordination; internal and external communication; assessment and evaluation; long-range facilities planning; and partnership negotiations. The system includes four comprising 400,000 square feet across campuses in Davis and Sacramento; the Library’s budget is approximately $30M.

Bill was at Dartmouth beginning in 1996, first as Director of Biomedical Libraries for Dartmouth College, the Geisel School of Medicine, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, and subsequently was Associate Chief Information Officer and Director of Academic and Campus Technology Services, Computing Services, Dartmouth College.

Before going to Dartmouth, Bill was Associate Director for Information Services at the Biomedical Library of the University of Pennsylvania, Executive Librarian in the office of the University Librarian of the University of Chicago, and Science Reference Librarian/Biomedical Specialist at Chicago's John Crerar Library.

Bill has a Master of Arts from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science of the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Sciences (Biology) from Siena College (Loudonville, New York). He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica before beginning his graduate studies at Chicago.

Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe is Professor/Coordinator for Information Literacy Services in the University Library and affiliate faculty in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As the 2010-2011 ACRL President, she led the launch the ACRL Value of Academic Libraries Initiative. Lisa is currently Editor of Library Trends and chair of the IFLA Information Literacy Section. Other service includes positions in DLF, NISO, ARL, and ALA. Lisa has consulted, presented, and published widely on strategic planning, organizational innovation, emerging technologies, program evaluation, assessment, inclusion and equity, information literacy, and teaching and learning. Dr John Inglis is the co-founder of bioRxiv and medRxiv, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s preprint services for the life and health sciences, respectively.  He is also the founding Executive Director and Publisher of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press in New York, a not-for-profit publisher of journals, books, and online media in molecular and cellular biology. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School with a Ph.D. in immunology and was previously Assistant Editor of The Lancet, founding editor of Trends in Immunology, and initiator of other Trends journals.

Heather Flanagan wears a variety of hats in the standards development and identity management spaces. Her work with the Resource Access in the 21st Century (RA21) focuses on the development of best practice around federated identity discovery through various pilot activities. Heather has also helped coordinate activities in a variety of groups and projects, including REFEDS, the Network Startup Resource Center, the Digital ID & Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC), and with the Internet Society. She is heavily engaged in the standards development community, most notably as the RFC Series Editor where she manages the publication process for the IETF, IAB, IRTF, and the Independent Submissions streams.

Ruth Pickering is Co-Founder and Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer, Yewno. Ruth has worked for both blue-chip corporations and startups and has extensive experience across product development, program management and strategy. Ruth’s experience spans from media technology and telecommunications to AI, where prior toYewno, she served as managing director of BT Wholesale; was one of the Global Telecoms Business top 40 under 40 in 2010, and was shortlisted for ‘Woman of the Year in Technology in 2011.

Shalu Gillum, JD, MLS, AHIP is Head of Public Services for the Harriet F. Ginsburg Health Sciences Library at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida. Ms. Gillum is responsible for managing library public services, including reference, instruction, and promotion. She provides support to faculty, students, and staff in the areas of research, literature searching, and copyright compliance. Ms. Gillum received her certificate in Copyright Management from the Special Libraries Association.

Beginning in 2005 until her hiring at UCF in 2010, Ms. Gillum worked as a licensed Florida attorney in South Florida and Central Florida in the areas of real estate, probate, family law and general corporate law. While receiving her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, she was awarded the National Library of Medicine and Medical Library Association joint Spectrum Scholarship, which promotes diversity in the library and information science field. In 2017 she became an alumni of Florida's Sunshine State Library Leadership Institute.

Kelsey Rosell is Vice President of North American Sales for Digital Science.  She has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience working exclusively with higher ed and academia for the last 10 years.  Some of her clients include Cornell University, MIT, Columbia University, The Ohio State University, Princeton University, Northwestern University and Duke to name a few. She understands the challenges that Universities face in understanding their research outputs and measuring impact. As the leader of the Digital Science Institutional Metrics Group in North America she is responsible for all business activities in the US and Canada.
