MLA is holding a silent auction for items lovingly made by MLA Fellow and Distinguished AHIP member, Patricia Gallagher, who passed away in December 2021. The items will be on display at the MLA Connection Booth in New Orleans and photos of each item appear online at the MLA ’22 Silent Auction site.

The Living Library is an event that is comprised of “books,” and each of those books is a person who has a lived an experience that often is met with stereotypes, prejudices, and misunderstandings. Each book will share their experience, and readers are then able to ask questions.
